Joan Walsh runs the succesful company Partnership International, a company that arranges and manages internships, trade delegations, technical visits, language courses, study visits, summer camps and Au Pair Programmes in Ireland, Europe and more recently in the US and China.

Joan also volunteers as the coordinator of Crossing Borders on the Terrace, a European Integration Project organised by Irish In Europe International.

Crossing Borders has meetups once a month for people from all backgrounds who have just moved into Ireland or who have been living here a long time. It promotes integration, culture and socio-economic benefits. The meetings are very casual and take place in The Electric on the south Mall In Cork.
