A story of racism and the effects it has on a family in Ireland

While I had my programme on Irish Radio International, I did the following interview with a Nigerian lady who lives close by. She had been telling me shocking stories of teens throwing stones at her house, and even petrol bombs. She kindly agreed to give me an interview, This interview was shared on various anti racism sites and was also sent to the gardaí head office in Dublin to be used in the training of community officers.

Miriam sought help with Nasc and life has improved for her and her family, although they still don’t feel secure in the house where the racist attacks occurred.

( apologies for the sound, a mobile phone was hiding away somewhere during the interview)
